Types of Racquets for tennis

Racquet control

Control racquets are racquets designed to give players maximum control. And properties, strength and control are determined by factors such as: size, weight, frame and wire pattern.

Racquets designed for control often have a smaller head size, closer strings, a flexible frame to absorb the shot’s energy, and are heavier.

Power Rackets

Power Rackets focus on providing maximum force to the player in a shot. This racquet improves the game and is ideal for beginners. However, it is also used by experienced players.

So these racquets typically have a larger, less dense head or an open-chain pattern that can deliver more power in the shot, a stiffer frame, and a bit more weight.

Tweener Racket

The tweener is a mid-range racket with full power and control. This is the most used racquet, as it is suitable for all players from beginner, intermediate to advanced levels.
